Alysha’s career started in theater before transitioning to LA where she produced commercials and music videos for several years. After a change in travel plans saved her from the events of 9/11, she spent seventeen years serving globally in the US Navy. She is passionate about blending her artistic and military experiences into a unique narrative. Her short films have screened at festivals worldwide and have collected numerous awards, most recently at Idyllwild Festival of Cinema, walking away with thirteen awards across three screened projects and Pasadena International Film Festival, awarded Best Director Short Film for Homeward Dawn.
